Questions and answers about StockSpotter's trading signals

What's the difference between a cycle trough, swing setup, and trading signal?

A swing setup is a chart pattern used to identify possible near-term bullish reversals whereas a trading signal is a specific buy/sell alert that is tracked, monitored, and reported. Access to trading signals requires a premium membership.

StockSpotter uses advance data mining techniques to scrutinize ALL swing setups occurring within the last 3 days. When a stock passes the stringent data mining criteria, a trading signal is generated. Only about 5% of all swing setups result in trading signals.
